I am a queer, kink- and poly-identified, cis woman who calls NYC home by way of the Deep South. I live with my three partners and our three cats Mariah Kitty, Samson, and Ladybug. I worked in veterinary medicine for nearly a decade where not only did I get to care for animals , but their humans too! My work with animals in many ways reflect my values as a therapist now: kindness, playfulness, empathy, and compassion. My main hobby is going to the movies (I see an average of 100 movies a year!) with my favorite being the Lord of the Rings trilogy, as I see therapy as similar to Frodo’s uncharted journey (with support) for the Ring!

Therapy with me is primarily relational, meaning we will examine the relationship dynamic between me and you. This is because we often see that what unfolds in therapy is mirrored in other places in your life. We will discuss your goals and expectations for therapy, establish safety and trust, and work towards deepening insight into how your past experiences, cultural heritage, and unique identities inform your life successes and challenges. We will also invite humor! We will bring in references to film, music, and art that resonates with you. I work from a strengths-based perspective and believe that therapy should be as unique as you are. I aim to co-create a space where my clients feel secure enough to get real. We’ll ask the tough questions together and welcome the answers with curiosity, not judgment.

I specialize in queer, kink, and non-monogamy affirming therapy. I primarily work with clients on releasing shame, working through internalized stigma, and working towards integrating all the parts that make you YOU! We will get to know the different parts of yourself, like your inner critic or anxious side, so they feel heard, understood, and can work together more peacefully. I have experience helping and supporting clients with trauma, eating disorders, bipolar disorders, relationship and family issues, and boundary setting. We’ll work together to identify and harness your unique strengths and set goals that matter to you. Along the way, I’ll share tools to help you write the story you want for your life.
I am passionate about co-creating a space for you to embody and celebrate your identities and desires holistically and enthusiastically. I have a special interest in supporting individuals, couples, and polycules in exploring BDSM, Leather, kink, power exchange dynamics, and non-monogamy in a safe and identity-affirming space.

Growing up in the traditional South, I often felt misunderstood and ashamed for being different. When searching for an affirming therapist, I only found two listed in the entire state I lived in at the time. I decided to become the therapist that I would have wanted to have on my journey to healing and self-discovery. I returned to graduate school in my 30s, which gave me a unique perspective, tons of lived experience, and deep empathy for the challenges of life transitions. I am honored to accompany folx on their journey to self-fulfillment, self-love, and self-worth.
